Payment

Payment must be made in full before the animals are delivered. Payments can be made in cash or by bank transfer.

Collection / Delivery / Transport

Livestock can be collected in person. For shipment of live animals we can accept only written orders. Unless the transport company is at fault, we guarantee that animals will arrive alive, within Europe, except at low temperatures (below 10°C) or very high temperatures (above 28°C). Live arrival is not guaranteed for international air freight shipments.

Guarantee

We only sell animals, according to my knowledge and awareness,have no diseases. Due to the nature of things, we cannot be held responsible for internal diseases, parasites, etc. We only sell outwardly healthy and eating animals. The sex determination is carried out to the best of our knowledge and understanding, but cannot be guaranteed.

If for any reason the animals delivered do not match the animals ordered, you must contact us within 24 hours of the arrival of the delivery. We will change the animals or refund the payment, but only if there are no more animals of the same quality available. For any later subsequent losses, or disease, we do not take responsibility after the receipt of the animals. The freightage for a replacement delivery / or return shipment has to be paid by the customer.

Advance payment / deposit

As numbers may be limited on some species I will operate an order list without taking deposits. A deposit of 20-30% is required to reserve animals that have been ordered. We reserve the right to request higher down payments in some cases (e.g. reservations, bulk orders …). Orders with prepayment or deposit will be delivered first. Advance payments or deposits will only be refunded if I am unable to fulfill the order. If the order is canceled by the buyer, the advance payment or deposit will not be refunded. Reservations are valid for a maximum of 3 months from receipt of the 1st deposit or advance payment. Thereafter, the order shall be deemed invalid and any advance payments or deposits made shall not be refunded. Longer reservations are only possible in special cases, but for a maximum of 6 months.

Wholesales or bulk orders

Discounts are possible for certain species but only for dealers or large orders. Please contact me to discuss your requirements personally.

Choice of law and place of jurisdiction

Austrian law applies to the contractual relationship between Schmidt Jürgen and the customer. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is the Linz Commercial Court or, in the case of district court proceedings, the Linz District Court for Commercial Matters.
