I have a 6" female Ctenosaura defensor not eating PLEASE HELP. I just bought her last week. I'm offering her mixed chopped fine mixed greens, shredded carrots and baby food with crickets. This is what the previous owner said he was feeding her? I have her at 28C with a basking spot of 50C. Should I crank up the heat?

Any help wold be appreciated.

if it is a wildcought animal, it will be very hard to get her feeding.
Adult Defensor are very sensitive, when they get a new home (also captive bred animals)
It can take weeks or month, until they start feeding normal.
You can only sit and wait. Put the food inside and let her alone.
As much as you disturb her, as longer it will take to get her feeding.
Temperature is ok!
Good luck
