Hi there,

I've succesfully kept in pairs this nice species and I'd like to know if I'd meet some problems housing a trio (1 male + 2 females) raised together in a roomy/walk-in enlosure of about 16 square meters of space floor.
I mean if I'll meet problems territoriality related between the 2 females housed together.

Thanks a lot

Hi,
On my experience it will always be a problem to house a group together.
Only in very large and well structured enclosures (>50m²) it is less stressful for a group of 1,2 or 1,3.
Especially during breeding season and nesting, the females always fight.
I keep only pairs together and I think for all large Cycluras it is the best way to keep them.
greetings
Jürgen
